Nice Antique Victorian Decorative Eastlake Corbin Ceylon Door Mortise Lock Set

Description

For your consideration is an incredible antique mortise lock set with decorative Eastlake style face plate,  back plates & knobs.
The back plates & Knobs are made of bronze.  The lock face plate is brass.  The set was manufactured by P&F Corbin MFG Co. in New Britain Conn in the late 1800's.  This is part of the Ceylon design collection as shown in the 1905 hardware trade catalog.
The mortise strike is reversible - it will work with a right or left hand swing door.  The mortise lock is in excellent functional condition - It has been refurbished - all parts disassembled, cleaned and properly reassembled.
Dimensions are as follows:  Dimensions of the face plate: 5-1/4" x 7/8".  Distance from the lock face to center of hub (setback): 2-3/8".  Distance between the center of hub to center of key post: 2-3/16".  Comes with everything you see in the photos.  Please look at the pictures carefully as they are considered part of the description.
