Matching pair of ornate, antique, door plates. Near PERFECT condition! (ITEMS FOR SALE IN LISTING SHOWN IN FIRST 7 PICS ONLY) Fabulous, acanthus/floral details at top and bottom. Pierced, fretwork body. Heavy, high quality items. Their big size makes them quite dramatic looking, statement pieces, that will accent any door(s) perfectly. Solid bronze/brass construction, with spectacular, rich patina. Not sure if it once held a door knob or maybe some kind of round insert for its use as a push plate.
