    Description

    This lot is for four backplates, and there were five batches in all.
    These have never been used. They measure 8 1/4" x 3/4' except where it measures 1 1/2" wide at the scrolls.
    Each has two drilled holes near the ends for hardware (not provided) and one square hole near the center for a knob or pull.
    They are finely textured on the center portion. There is no maker's mark except for a patent number "D20.824" and
    "RD 1971 Can.".
