Michael Jordan left his mark in multiple ways during the 1988 NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago. In the East's 138-133 win, he garnered MVP honors after totaling 40 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, and 4 blocks while showing off his trademark late-game clutch scoring. Jordan scored 16 of his points in the final 5:30 of the game as the East pulled away from the West. His 40 points were two points shy of the All-Star Game's single-game scoring mark of 42 held by Wilt Chamberlain. Other legendary participants in the game included Hall of Famers Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Larry Bird, Moses Malone, James Worthy, Hakeem Olajuwon, Dominique Wilkins, and Karl Malone. Presented is a a working media pass giving the holder media access to the All-Star game. Pass displays moderate wear, including evidence of water damage.
