100% ORIGINAL EVERYTHING. RUNS GREAT, INSTANT COLD START!
One owner for 45 years - always garaged (as you can tell by the original dashboard, interior and carpeting). Even has the original owner's manual in the glovebox, and the original keys. Original drivetrain and steering wheel (the rubber is cracking). New battery and tires. This is a completely drivable car but an incredible candidate for a restoration. The paint is original and thick (there are two small areas - less than 1" - or bubbling). Brakes have a lot of travel, but do not squeak at all. This car doesn't even rattle on bumps (video available on request!). Right window manual crank is jumpy, driver's armrest is missing. There is no radio and the panel beneath the steering wheel is missing. Interior dash lighting needs a bulb replacement. The driver's side seatbelt doesn't retract and needs replacement. Plastic cover over the "hazard" bulb is gone. Undercarriage looks amazing (the muffler is corroded as it is original, and has a hole, which leads to the throaty "purr" when driving.
Lastly, I am honestly not sure if the mileage is 241,000m, or 24,100 miles as the right wheel moves faster but isn't a different color, like most cars.
I had the car run through extensively by a German Motors in Santa Monica, and can share the paperwork.
